Tensile Tuff® Mesh

Here’s what you need to know about our specially developed extra-strong mesh:

• Up to 26.5% thicker than competitor screens
• Made from 0.9mm 304 structural-grade stainless steel. Most competitors use 0.8mm 316 steel, which is not as thick and more brittle against force.
• A classification of 304 means this mesh can absorb a tremendous amount of force without breaking. It’s also resistant to oxidisation and corrosion to stay looking its best, while the tight-weave design can withstand winds of up to 392 km/h (around five times gale force) and bushfire embers, which can prevent the spread of fire into the home.
• The mesh keeps unwanted intruders, bugs and harsh elements out while letting the fresh air in. You’ll still enjoy natural cross-flow ventilation and high visibility with protection against glare and UV rays.

Screw-Clamp™ technology

These tamper-resistant screws secure the mesh to the screen with a vice-like grip. The Screw-Clamp™ design helps disperse force through the screen door, helping to absorb huge amounts of impact; inferior products that use glue, pop-rivets, welded corners or plastic wedges often only localise the impact resistance and are easy to break with standard tools or a few good kicks.

Screw-Clamp™ Technology utilises a clamp-hook design that allows the clamp itself to remain secured to the frame while doing its job of keeping the mesh in place. No other system in Australia uses clamp-hooks – only Crimsafe.

Tamper Resistant Screws

Crimsafe has designed a range of tamper-resistant screws with unique drive-heads, which can only be removed with specific tools exclusive to Crimsafe licensees, like My Security Door.
